10/2009 On a night that this strip club is normally packed, I was astounded by the lack of customers. There were 10 dancers on hand (more than usual), and less than 10 patrons. I got a couch dance, and come to find out that this strip club has recently changed to non-contact couch dancing due to the under-cover vice squads working extra hard to demoralize all the strip clubs still left in Houston County. Stripped is now a completely benign strip club. I can get more enjoyment watching a $20 hardcore porno than paying $25 to watch a clothed, pastied stripper just dance around in front of me. This club drops from a B to an F, but blame it on the religious zealots who dictate policy in Alabama and Dothan. ~Buck
02/09 $5 cover charge, but military get in for free. Bouncers are nice and respectful. Kind of a small strip club, but they've found a way to pack in the chairs to hold a large crowd.
There were about 8 dancers on hand; 6 were white girls, and 2 were black girls. The 8 dancers ranged anywhere in looks from a tad below average to smoking hot. Couch dances are $20 per song. How good the couch dances are depends on the stripper you pick. I sampled a few strippers and got anywhere from a very tepid performance to a totally awesome performance. So, guess which of those strippers I sampled got the bulk of my Saturday night budget.
In conclusion, given that you can eventually find a good stripper by shopping around, and that this club does not ante you up with cover charges, drink minimums, private dance wristbands, you name it, I say this club is good all around; not great, but good. ~Buck
