06/09 My husband and I were going to go to the Men's Club, but chose Goldfinger instead because we heard they were couple-friendly and couples and girls got in free. NOT TRUE.
On top of the cover, there was a two drink minimum. ($7.50 for a Corona) I realize not all dancers are in to the couples thing, but I've never felt so unwelcome at a club before. We are young, and were nicely dressed, and were ready to spend money. The only people who were getting any attention were other girls who looked like they were just there on their night off.
We thought maybe there was more action upstairs in the balcony area, and asked the hostess how to get up there. She motioned us to the stairwell, which was cordoned off. When we tried to go under the cord, a bouncer intercepted us and sent us to the elevator. There was no one in the balcony area other than one dude getting a lap dance in the corner. We went back downstairs and sat at the stage, but the dancers up there completely ignored our tips ($5 for one girl from me) until after the song was over, and just picked all the money up without making eye contact, and went off stage.
Eventually we got bored and left.
Your experience is not all that uncommon at clubs everywhere.
Why dancers had rather sit is beyond me. It's simply not true that couple don't tip. Frequently, the wife tips better than the guys! ~ WOM

A couple of things that you might consider. 1) While a free MySpace page is nice, you should have your own website. and 2) Lose the music on the MySpace page. People do not want the boss or wife knowing where they surf! - WOM
